A bit about the IPPVA Awards

More than 2500 images were submitted to the competition over the course of the year. The photographs and videos were judged by panel of other professionals from Ireland and abroad. These judging sessions were recorded and they were made available to our members. Photographers became finalists based on the scores of their top 4 images. The highest scoring became the winner of the category. The judges for all the different categories and different rounds can be seen on previous posts.

These category winners then progressed to be judged by another new set of judges. Esteemed and professional International and Irish (non members) made up the jury which voted on the over all winner. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to these people for sharing their insight, and giving of their time so willingly. The photography and videography community is a generous one indeed.

Thank you.
