Professional Photography is a business. At times a lonely business. 

That’s why we have organised a “Making the most of your Business” Seminar.

You will hear and meet four sets of speakers who will inspire you with their experience  and successes.  Each speaker will discuss their approach to developing their business and their approach to marketing.

  • John Gillooley
  • A prize winning Photographer who is a wonderful communicator. His wedding photography is out standing as is his entertaining and enlightening blog. He is a powerful speaker and a great inspiration.
  • NonFictionLove
  • Aoife and Emily are high end wedding filmmakers  who have relocated from Canada to the wilds of Connemara . They cover all of Ireland and have established a successful business in a relatively short time. They show that quality can drive a business no matter where you are situated . They will show the exciting journey that has brought them success.
  • Richard Mc Carthy
  • The President Richard Mc Carthy , president of the IPPVA runs a successful practice from Co.Sligo . His practice has successfully added Fine portraiture to his Wedding practice. He also is able to mix commercial photography to his work and combines the disciplines to run a very successful practice.
  • Lidi Lima Conlon 
  • Lidi, who was the IPPVA 2022 photographer of the year , a dynamic marketer who has developed a newborn practice and was New-born photographer of the year 2022. She is a popular educator and source of great wisdom. She runs her practice in Combination with her husband Gareth .

After the presentations you are invited to meet the speakers over coffee and light refreshments .

Harry Potter and Halloween Session Studio Tour and Workflow including a Model shoot hosted by R&R Photography

In-person OFF Camera flash + Magmod for beginners workshop with Irina Duane Magmod ambassador

This is a great opportunity if you struggle to use flash on your shots. Irina Duane, an amazing and very talented wedding photographer, will be hosting a workshop on how to use camera flash off the camera. She will also be demonstrating how to use the Magmod modifiers.

If you’ve ever struggled with using flash in your shots, this workshop is perfect for you. Irina is known for her expertise in this area and she will be sharing her knowledge and techniques with participants. It’s a great chance to learn from the best.
