The following professional newborn photographers based in Ireland have been announced as finalists in the IPPVA Irish Professional Photographer and Videographer of the Year awards 2022, having won multiple awards in the Newborn category during the heats in 2021.
IPPVA Photographers can submit newborn images derived from commissioned newborn portrait sessions in this category.
Newborn babies included in submitted photographs are less than 6 weeks past their due date. This allows for babies who are born premature to be included in this category when they are well enough to be photographed. The images may include other people including parents, siblings, pets, etc.
The category is open to classic and documentary newborn photography and can be done in studio, at home, or environmental.
