Congratulations to Corin Bishop AIPPA who won the overall IPPA National Portrait Day Award for 2014. The NPD 2014 Awards, sponsored by Canon, took place at the Mansion House in Dublin on May 26th.
Corin’s image was taken during the charitable initiative for this year’s National Portrait Day Campaign which raised funds for the ISPCC.
The runners up were Brendan Lyon LIPPA and Gosia Tuznik LIPPA. The finalists were Corin Bishop AIPPA, Brendan Lyon LIPPA, Deirdre O’Keeffe LIPPA, Gosia Tuznik LIPPA, Lorcan Brereton AIPPA, Michelle O’Sullivan LIPPA, Paul Dorrell LIPPA and Nicola Webster AIPPA.
This year IPPA members raised €42,000 for the ISPCC and collectively just over €180,000 has been raised for charity during the last three years by members of the public donating €25 in exchange for a professional portrait experience. IPPA members give their time each year to this initiative and 100% of the proceeds go to charity.
