The IPPVA Awards are the only professional photography and videography awards in Ireland to recognise the best of the industry across all genres from Wedding to Portrait, Landscape to Fine Art, Newborn to Commercial, Architecture to Press.
They are judged by panels of professional photographers and videographers from across Ireland and beyond, and heats are judged digitally in recorded-live zoom sessions where judges discuss and debate each entry and score it anonymously and independently. Members can watch back the judging videos and see what is working and what is not for each panel of judges.
In the 2022 awards programme, just finished, over 40 hours of judging sessions were recorded. This highlight reel captures just a few minutes of those hours of comments and showcases the best photos and videos to be awarded.
The winners of the awards were announced at a the IPPVA Gala Dinner in Clontarf Castle on Sunday, April 3rd, 2022. The Irish Professional Videographers of the Year 2022 are Eoin Healy and Suzann Aherne of Hitched Films, while the Irish Professional Photographer of the Year 2022 is Lidi Lima Conlon.
The IPPVA is open to all professional photographers and videographers in Ireland.
