About the IPPVA
The Irish Professional Photographers & Videographers Association (IPPVA) is Ireland’s longest serving representative association of professional photographers & videographers, and has been serving members and the general public since 1949.
Run as a non-for-profit association, the IPPVA is dedicated to providing education and support, to promoting excellence in photography and videography, and to assisting the general public in finding the ideal photographer or videographer to suit their business or personal needs.
Each IPPVA member is assessed for technical excellence and is required to uphold the highest standards in how they operate their business, including customer service, insurance tax compliance and safety standards.
The association was founded in 1949 as the Irish Professional Photographers Association (IPPA) and was rebranded as the Irish Professional Photographers & Videographers Association (IPPVA) in 2018 to open its doors to professional qualified videographers.
